As a heavy Active Directory user and Pulp 2.x admin, who unfortunately missed the discussion, these look good. Currently we are doing the best we can with mod_auth_gssapi to allow logins and nothing more on 2.x. Looking forward to more robust [B]Active Directory[/B] integration options with Pulp 3.x.
