Hey folks, One of the features we're working on for pulp_rpm, now that Pulp3.0 is GA'd, is the idea of Applicability - given a list of NEVRAs/modules/repositories, tell me what could be updated, based on what's sync'd into pulp, and why. It's a complicated question, and the way it can be answered is different in Pulp3 pulp_rpm than it was in Pulp2.
To this end, we have a draft design doc available on hack.md here: https://hackmd.io/ydvHuzXNRA6T9eXx6cqy5A The pulp-team has had a few whacks at it already, but I'd really like input from the larger community. Especially if you are currently using/interested in applicability in Pulp2, please take a look at the doc and let us know what we've missed. Add comments to the doc, we'll be responding regularly. Thanks for any eyes and expertise you can spare, Grant -- Grant Gainey Principal Software Engineer, Red Hat System Management Engineering
