This is likely a crash in alsa-lib. I had to apply a patch from one of Linaro's acccompanying trees for this: http://cgit.collabora.com/git/user/arun/android/alsa-lib/commit/?id=36ae44068e4a1e04660e01d8c3423b4b9f9fb3fa Maybe this will get you past the crash.
