pulseaudio 5.0

Linux TEST 4.9.35-v7+ #1014 SMP Fri Jun 30 14:47:43 BST 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux  (Raspbian Jessie, Raspberry Pi 3)

The only thing I changed in the config files is:
exit-idle-time = -1

In daemon.conf

That is a very old version of pulse. Can you try current 11.1 or git?

        Yes I can confirm that:

        Pactl unload-module <index>
stops the sine output on both channels.

        But in

        pactl list modules short

the module<index> has disappeared while the other module-sine
        is still there.

This definitely should not happen. I'll investigate and see if I can
    reproduce the issue.

I cannot reproduce it here. For me it works and I can also immediately
reload module-sine after unloading. What platform are you on and
which version of PA are you using?
