That's not what it says in the pacat/parec manual.

"Depending on the endianess of the CPU the formats s16ne, s16re,
float32ne, float32re (for native, resp. reverse endian) are available
as aliases. "

Essentially pacat and parec appear to choose different Endians when
you specify float32ne, so one of them is wrong :)
