Issue #1385 has been updated by plathrop.

I'm not sure what a person would expect to happen... do the documents really
need to be any more explicit?

Bug #1385: Documentation needs clarification
http://reductivelabs.com/redmine/issues/show/1385

Author: nico
Status: Accepted
Priority: Normal
Assigned to: jamtur01
Category: documentation
Target version:
Keywords:
Complexity: Unknown
Patch: None
Affected version: 0.24.4

The documentation page TypeReference talks about features that "package" has,
but I can't find anywhere in the docs something saying clearly that the
following codes will install/or upgrade packages.

<pre>
package { "asterisk": ensure => installed }
</pre>
or
<pre>
package { "asterisk": ensure => present }
</pre>
or
<pre>
package { "asterisk": ensure => lastest }
</pre>

I think it should be mentionned that it will perform actions (and then avoid
some mistakes :)
