Issue #2219 has been updated by Luke Kanies. Status changed from Unreviewed to Accepted
I'm working on this for a client in a 0.24-based branch. Once all the work is polished I'll rebase it over to master. I.e., this is mostly done but not quite ready. ---------------------------------------- Bug #2219: Puppet queue daemon returns very little logging and debug http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/2219 Author: James Turnbull Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assigned to: Luke Kanies Category: queuing Target version: 0.25.0 Complexity: Unknown Affected version: 0.25.0 Keywords: This is starting pupeptqd --no-daemonize --verbose --debug
# puppetqd --no-daemonize --verbose --debug ^C Cancelling startup
No there are no log messages, no output telling you what the daemon is doing. Given the issues we have elsewhere with insufficient or unclear logging this seems like a bad start. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
