Bug #2271: Missing information in puppetd manpage
http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/2271

Author: Yannick Perret
Status: Closed
Priority: Normal
Assigned to: James Turnbull
Category: documentation
Target version: 0.25.0
Complexity: Unknown
Affected version: 0.24.8
Keywords: documentation puppetd

In the man page for puppetd, from 0.24.6 and to the latest version (0.24.8) it
is claimed that the option "--test" is equivalent to the use of options
onetime, verbose, ignorecache and no-usecacheonfailure.
This is not complete, as --test also includes --no-daemonize, so the doc may be
corrected.

This particular point lead me to problems when trying to switch from --test to
--onetime, due to the implicite daemonize.

Regards,
--
Yannick
