This isn't actually related to this bug, right? Any useful information from the server? ---------------------------------------- Bug #2403: Provider warnings and override shenaniganz on HP-UX and Solaris http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/2403 Author: Sam Rowe Status: Ready for Checkin Priority: Normal Assigned to: Sam Rowe Category: RAL Target version: 0.25.0 Complexity: Unknown Affected version: 0.25.0beta2 Keywords: We finally got around to testing 25b2 on HP-UX and Solaris and we're seeing an oddity. Both OSes will issue this report: Found multiple default providers for service: base, init; using base We override the default provider for both OSes in manifests/site.pp. Solaris will follow this override, HP-UX will not. Let us know if you'd like some sort of trace for this. Also, since we've provided defaults/overrides for the default service provider, why print a warning about it? -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
