Issue #2559 has been updated by Markus Roberts.

Assigned to changed from Markus Roberts to James Turnbull

----------------------------------------
Bug #2559: Stand-alone puppet wants $confdir/manifests/site.pp
http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/2559

Author: Todd Zullinger
Status: Ready for Checkin
Priority: High
Assigned to: James Turnbull
Category: executables
Target version: 0.25.0
Complexity: Unknown
Affected version: 0.25.0rc1
Keywords:

Running the stand-alone puppet script from 0.25.0rc1 to check for syntax errors
in a single manifest file yields an error:

<pre>
$ puppet --verbose --trace --parseonly bad.pp
err: Could not parse for environment production: Could not find file
/home/tmz/.puppet/manifests/site.pp
</pre>

Doing the same thing with 0.24.8 there is no such complaint.
