The following manifest (which works in 0.25.x) doesn't work anymore in testing
<pre>
$topvar = 12
notice("topvar in main is : ${topvar}")
node macbook {
notice("topvar in node is : ${topvar}")
}
</pre>
On testing it produces (notice the undef in node):
<pre>
notice: Scope(Class[main]): topvar in main is : 12
notice: Scope(Node[macbook]): topvar in node is : undef
</pre>
On 0.25.x it produces:
<pre>
notice: Scope(Class[main]): topvar in main is : 12
notice: Scope(Node[macbook]): topvar in node is : 12
</pre>
