This isn't a huge deal for me but I think it would be awesome. It would be great if I could tell puppetd to do just one resource (and any dependencies) after receiving the catalog. This mainly comes up when testing. It also comes up when I have no patience :) Since puppetd has the entire catalog it should be possible to do any sort of resource, including defines.
