Issue #4550 has been updated by James Turnbull. Status changed from Unreviewed to Duplicate
Duplicate of #3145. ---------------------------------------- Bug #4550: puppetmasterd ignores masterlog setting http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4550 Author: Alan Barrett Status: Duplicate Priority: Normal Assigned to: Category: Target version: Affected version: Keywords: Branch: The masterlog setting seems to be ignored by puppetmasterd. The only way that I have found to direct logs to a file is to use the --logdest command line option. (logdest is not available as a setting in the config file.) I think that logging should be configurable in the config file without using command line options. Moving the logdest option from the command line to the config file seems like a way to achieve this. If the masterlog setting is ignored, then it should be removed. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
