Issue #8375 has been updated by Gary Larizza.
Looks like we need to add the following:
*Line 227 and 249:*
when "10.5", "10.6", "10.7"
I'll submit a patch for this as soon as I can.

Running 'puppet resource user <username' on 10.7 (Lion) errors out.
Version Running: 2.7.1
## Steps to Reproduce
Install 2.7.1 on OS X 10.7 (Lion) and run 'puppet resource user <username>'.

## Issue
It looks like line 246 of lib/puppet/provider/nameservice/directoryservice.rb
needs a choice for 10.7
