Issue #18985 has been updated by Dominic Cleal.
Which packages are you using? (versions and exact source) I believe the Debian packages at apt.puppetlabs.com do already have this dependency, as do downstream distros. ---------------------------------------- Bug #18985: Augeas depends on augeas Ruby libraries https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/18985#change-82516 Author: Aaron Hicks Status: Unreviewed Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: augeas Target version: Affected Puppet version: 3.0.2 Keywords: Branch: Augeas in puppet depends on the libaugeas-ruby package in Ubuntu (and probably Debian), and if it's not installed Puppet reports the error: Error: Could not find a suitable provider for augeas Installing the package libaugeas-ruby resolves the error. This library should be a dependency of the Puppet package. This issue may effect other OSs, but I've only been using Ubuntu. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
