Issue #10964 has been updated by Andrew Parker.

Target version changed from 2.0.0 to 1.7.0

This was actually released in 1.7.0

----------------------------------------
Feature #10964: Add the ability to directly set values
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/10964#change-94865

* Author: Ken Barber
* Status: Closed
* Priority: Normal
* Assignee: Ken Barber
* Category: interface
* Target version: 1.7.0
* Keywords:
* Branch: https://github.com/kbarber/facter/tree/ticket/10964-add_value_option
* Affected Facter version:
----------------------------------------
Add the ability to set a value directly:

    Facter.add(:myfact, :value => "myvalue")

At the moment doing this kind of thing means opening a block, and doing it
within setcode. We do enough of this shorthand use of Facter that it warrants a
proper API.
