Bug #17072: Getting started with mcollective should be easier
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/17072#change-101441

* Author: R.I. Pienaar
* Status: Accepted
* Priority: High
* Assignee: R.I. Pienaar
* Category: Backlog
* Target version: 2.3.x
* Keywords: backlog
* Branch:
* Affected mCollective version:
----------------------------------------
Today getting going requires one to setup ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ and
understanding a ton of complex technology. Additionally small sites really do
not care that much for middleware, they want something simpler/easier else they
just wont use mcollective.

We have a number of options here to consider:

 * Create a easier ActiveMQ distribution with a DSL to configure it something
as simple as http://p.devco.net/97/
 * Investigate other kinds of middleware suitable for small sites like MongoDB,
Redis etc see http://srt.ly/cj
