It could certainly be absorbed by a QENG ticket. Roger Ignazio I didn't see one for this task in particular. We could also consider just closing this, since one incentive was to minimize number of times hitting Github directly. Although, being able to run the full pipeline from a stored artifact might still be a worthwhile goal. So, probably github should point to a jenkin's job that tar's up a single checkout, saves it as an artifact and flicks the first spec matrix job, which uses the artifact to run the tests (and then cascades on to solaris, windows...assuming those still need to be separate because of different script requirements).
