As a result, the agent will not use compression when downloading files, e.g. remote file sources. The agent should always request compressed content via Accept-Encoding. If the server doesn't support compression, e.g. webrick, then the server will send uncompressed responses and set the Content-Encoding header appropriately. We may need to keep the setting so that the agent can be configured to not POST/PUT compressed content...
