This is all over the place. PSON needs to be removed and replaced with JSON. At the same time replace all uses of x.to_json or x.to_pson with JSON.generate(x.to_data_hash) and then delete all of the custom to_pson and to_json methods. Remove puppet/external/pson. Create a stubbed PSON module that simply forwards all calls to JSON. When a call against PSON is made it need to emit a deprecation warning. We can't simply remove PSON because a large number of modules appear to depend on it.
