it asked me for my password, wouldnt let me view it without, maybe its
cos google knew I had a google account already due to a cookie or something
i did see some anon viewers so I guess that must be it.

comments there aren't really great, you only have to look at the current
ones there to see how hard it is to read, unindented properly etc

this is even worse, there isnt enough space, the comments will be longer
than the doc and the context of what is being commented on is gone.

You cant reply to various parts of a persons comment easily like I am 
doing here by commenting on each of your bullet points.  It takes
everything that sux about top posting outlook users as UI guidelines :)

I dont know what is the best solution, but email is in every way better
than google docs.
