Hello,

I found a thread from a couple years ago about autorequire in
providers: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01370.html

But there is no resolution directly in that thread and through talking
on IRC I'm not sure if there is any solution available yet.

I recently ran into a need for this working on a Pip provider for the
package resource, but I'd like to autorequire python packages so that
the pip provider is guaranteed to be available. There may be other
issues with this as well (the command won't exist until runtime so
maybe Puppet will think the host is not capable?)

Any thoughts?

Best,
Mitchell
