The upcoming release of the PuppetDB module, `puppetlabs-puppetdb`, will be getting some breaking changes to prepare for the release of `PuppetDB 3.0.0`.
We will be creating a`stable` branch in the module's Github repo that will function as the module's `4.x` branch. **Any configuration currently pointing at the `puppetlabs-puppetdb` master branch should move to this new stable branch.** The master branch will be released as version `5.0.0` of the module and will be backwards compatible with `PuppetDB 2.x`. The breaking changes are default configuration parameters which will need to be changed in order for the module to work with `PuppetDB 2.x`.
