If you want tea tasting, I would recommend checking out Jasmine Pearl Tea Company on your own (only a few seats in the tasting room). Tao of Tea on Belmont, or Townsend Tea is more accommodating since they have room to sit, but neither is located downtown nor very spacious. I recommend going to the LanSu Chinese garden and visiting the teahouse in the garden. They serve tea in several different styles with small bites and hopefully can accommodate everyone since they have two floors: http://www.lansugarden.org/about-the-garden/teahouse > Want to join?
