Vim here too.. Luke wrote a puppet.vim syntax highlighter on the wiki
you can use for it, and I have a quickie little syntax parser I use as
well:
let project=""
let compile_file=""
augroup compile
au!
au bufenter *.pp nm ,' :call CompilePuppet()<cr>
augroup END
fu! CompileFile()
if g:project==""
let g:compile_file=expand("%")
else
let g:compile_file=g:project
end
endf
fu! CompilePuppet()
w!
call CompileFile()
exe "!/usr/bin/puppet --ignoreimport --parseonly
".g:compile_file "| more"
endf
