If the vendor:

* provides a silent install that isn't silent
* provides a package in a non-standard format

then the problem is Adobe's to solve.

I totally feel your pain, I used to have to manage lab machines with just
about every single Adobe app with radmind, and they're one of the worst
vendors to deal with :(

I know Greg Neagle has done a lot of blogging on installing Adobe software,
maybe have a look there and we can work out a defined type to do the
install?
