Absolutely, you can. Puppet can deploy it as easily as any other applicaton. Where things become interesting is when you have to decide whether to deploy and configure individual Java applications to JOnAS, or how much of the configuration is done by puppet, how much through the JOnAS console. People have very different philosphical approaches to that.
