Is there anything current on getting a Puppet client going on AIX? The wiki has a really old document that doesn’t really tell you how to install in the first place. Google indicates that using gems should work, but right off the bat with facter, I’m told that it can’t proceed because I need some Python tool to generate the man pages. This dependency stuff could go on and on.
So before I spend days dealing with these issues, I thought I’d see if anyone else has sorted them out already.
