Why do you have to do a || with true here?
afaik, /apps/path/scripts/install.sh && touch
/etc/puppet/puppet.script.done should do.. or even better use a ;
instead of &&

Just wondering if ^ this is /etc/puppet/puppet.script.done ? :)
