Puppet Labs would like to notify Puppet Enterprise users about the end of support for platforms based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and Debian 5 (Lenny).
Systems based on RHEL 4 (including CentOS, Scientific, and Oracle)[1] will be supported by Puppet Labs until June 1, 2012. Debian 5 (Lenny)[2] has been end-of-lifed by the Debian project. Puppet Labs will continue to support customers running Puppet Enterprise on Lenny until June 1, 2012. As we phase out older operating systems, we are also actively working on supporting upcoming releases. Specifically we have already begun working on supporting the next Ubuntu LTS Precise Pangolin[3] with Puppet Enterprise.
