Can you let people know which module exaxtly that you're using? Is it one you wrote or one you got from the Forge? I looked on the Forge and saw multiple JBOSS modules and they are probably all going to work differently.
Hopefully it's parameterized and you can just override the default port when you apply it to a node. But it all depends on what code you're using. There may be a readme with the code that explains how to use it. We have a JBOSS module where I work and we actually manage some of the XML configs as files, since the guys who wrote the code knew we'd want the containers to be the same in all environments.
