Such as "the official Puppet Linux"? I don't think that I'd care for that. After all, Puppet aims at supporting a large range of platforms, not imposing its own standard. The whole concept of specialized AMIs seems to be at least a bit controversial: https://www.exratione.com/2014/08/do-not-use-amazon-linux/ You should be able to use Ubuntu (or CentOS?) on AWS.
