We have puppet and foreman installed in RHEL 6.5 in production environment.
Now while trying to deploy some iptables in client machines we can't able
because of puppet-master not up and running. While troubleshooting we have
found that foreman and puppet using 8140 port and its conflict because of
that I can’t start puppet master service currently tried stopping the httpd
service while that time puppet-master working fine. After that i have
started to write some of iptables rules and tried, Whenever I’m applying
those rules configuration changes need to done in client machine but its
fail to do. How can i make puppet and foreman work together to deploy
iptables in client machines.
While foreman running if i try to start puppet-master it's give me {{
puppet dead but pid file exists }}.
Just rebooted the vm and checked whether its works but now i get following
error
{{ puppet dead but subsys locked }}
