Dan, thank you for that feedback. It actually did educate me; however, (a week later from me) I learned this morning what had happened. Neither agent was properly checking in. 1 due to NetworkManager problems on a RHEL6 system, and the other the Puppet Agent service wasn't enabled to run as a daemon, so it only checked in at reboots. Arrrrgh!
Stupid little things like this drive me bonkers. Thank you Dan for taking the time to articulate a response.
