please test this with the latest kernel. it is based on the ubuntu stock
kernel configs for the 'generic'  flavour so it should in theory be
fixed if this is an issue to do with the config.

Bug description:
Please add support for dm_crypt so the kernel can mount encrypted partitions. 
The current kernel ends up in a maintenance shell, with the error: "unable to 
find suitable fs in /proc/mounts".
