I installed jockey-gtk on a liveUSB on an nvidia machine - running it reported no drivers available - maybe it only works with supported kernel versions? (or maybe my hardware is too new?)

Status in Puredyne liveCD/DVD/USB/HD: In Progress Bug description: http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/jockey-gtk Jockey is a useful tool for locating hardware drivers not native to the kernel. It is part of the Ubuntu live cd (under the menu entry 'Hardware Drivers.' and detects any hardware drivers not installed automatically. It accesses proprietary drivers, but I am unsure if it locates kernel drivers as well. It is very useful, however, for locating and installing drivers for certain hardware, such as nvidia and broadcom network cards, without having to compile them manually. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~puredyne-team Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~puredyne-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
