Status in Puredyne kernel: Confirmed
Bug description:
Ubuntu provides some backport packages for the kernel to ensure some last
minute fixes are available.
A typical example is linux-backports-modules-alsa-karmic-generic, which gives a
fresh alsa that contains a lot of fixes for macbook (for example the non
working headphone jack, which is kind of a pain to not have during workshops).
Could we have a similar system, or port their backports to the pure kernel???
That would be really handy.
