would be useful to have a page documenting minimum system requirements.
eg: I booted a CD iso on a machine with 256MB RAM and no swap, and
managed to get a test tone out of 'pd -noprefs -alsa', but trying to
start qjackctl, jack, and pd all at once failed horribly (random tasks
ended by out of memory killer).
