Cheers Aymeric, much appreciated. I wrote to Nicolas a couple of days ago but haven't had any responses as of yet. Another unrelated msd question came up on the pd list as well and he hasn't responded to that either, making me think he's not around for whatever reason.
I guess the obvious one would be to rebuild the msd object but it's a bit outside of my knowledge. Not in front of my machine atm but of the top of my head I think you have top build flext first then msd. I got stuck straight away when I couldn't locate the pd sourcefiles location.
