I think the install Puredyne entry is normal, as ubiquity will give you the same apps as the live system, so it will also replicate itself.
Another lead: When making the new live system, I encountered a problem with the user creation, namely the fact that the live user was not created at boot time (lintian should be created on the fly, the ISO itself has no hardcoded users). So I ended up writing hook that manually add lintian. So maybe ubiquity hits the same bug as live-initramfs that prevent the on-the-fly user creation, and you end up just with lintian that I harcoded into the system? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of puredyne team, which is the registrant for broth. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/811557 Title: ubuiqity does not create new user Status in broth - the mother of all soups: Confirmed Status in Puredyne liveCD/DVD/USB/HD: Confirmed Bug description: having fixed the installer - i now see that no new user gets created once the system is installed - having entered username and password as part of the install process, this information does not get used and the system is left with one user autologing in - lintian To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/broth/+bug/811557/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~puredyne-team Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~puredyne-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
