hi potax,
i would really recommand using mrpeach/osc - mrpeach/net externals.
sendOSC is not maintain anymore.
yes, good point - thanks
let us know if you need help in compiling and using this external (not
sure if it's part of pd-extended).
it is in pure:dyne, which is based on a split-debs approach rather than
the monolithic pd-extended one-deb (*)
aptitude install pd-mrpeach
pd -path /usr/lib/pd/extra/mrpeach/ -open
/usr/lib/pd/extra/mrpeach/packOSC-help.pd
(*) you can install pd together with many externals using
aptitude install puredyne-puredata
use this command to see what you get with that:
aptitude show puredyne-puredata
pat

OSC seems to be in place, installed and listed in .pdrc
And yet, when i try to put a simple [sendOSC] on a patch, it doesnt
work.
what can i do?
pd -path /usr/lib/pd/extra/osc/
create [sendOSC] works here
or does it "not work" in a different way?
