Maybe a template view could help ? (Like Server view, Storage view). So we can keep the current server view with mixed templates + vm, and a template view with only the templates ?

Imagine you have 200 vms on one node. You've created templates over time. Now these are completely mixed in the tree and you need to manually look for them. Instead kind of grouping would be great.
