I think it can handle both.

The zfs part should work with any os. (create zvol,snapshot,clones).  (Maybe 
output parsing should be tested to be sure to not have difference)


Only the transport layer should change, iscsi:// for remote storage (so we need 
specific code for manage commstar on solaris), or direct block access /dev/ for 
local zvols.
