If the old disk is still reachable as an unused disk I think it is of
the atmost importance that the panel is refreshed. Does connected
unused disk not affect the ability to migrate and backup?

An example:
A user moves all the disks away from a storage in the intend of
deconfigure the use of this storage for proxmox. If the user is not
aware of the fact that moving a disk will leave the old disks connected
as unused disks will this not potentially give severe errors if the
user removes the storage under datacenter->storage?
