I don't known if novnc have in their roadmap a conversion to c++/asm.js. (which 
could give mostly native performance)

honestly, I would not do that now. We need to evaluate more options first. 

What about writing a PNaCl SPICE/VNC plugin - is there already one available? 
Are there other ways to write 
a browser plugin that runs on several architectures? 

Everything looks more promising to me than relying on a slow an limited JS 
implementation.
