I don't get error messages after of apply:
root@proxmox:~#> ./po_po2js.pl es.po>es.js
root@proxmox:~#> cp es.js /usr/share/pve-manager/root/pve-lang-es.js
root@proxmox:~#> reboot
And finally test it in the PVE GUI with a F5 in my Firefox browser

any further details, so it is quite hard to help.
