 Hi Stefan,
So you are saying use (2) cables (one for each VLAN) to the switch?  Then from
the switch I already have a single cable going from the switch to the VOIP
Phone which I want to contain VLAN20 & VLAN30.
So my original question was should I run a cable from each NIC Port (VLAN20 &
VLAN30) to the switch and then trunk both VLANs to the VOIP phones which I can
split out the Workstation from each VOIP Phone?
Thanks.
Steve

 Hi Steve
You seem to have plenty of server and switch ports available.
In your case I would suggest to use a separate cable for every VLAN defined on
your switch.

Hi Stefan,
I had some hardware issues with my server and had to reinstall.  I saved the
interfaces from what you had sent me last and I have a few more questions if
you don't mind.
Below is the last configuration that you sent me.
What I would like to do is run a patch cord from my 192.168.20.0/23 &
192.168.30.0/24 to my switch that will do VLANs if this is the best we of doing
it.
I want to be able to send to my VOIP Phones (192.168.30.0) VLAN30 and Computer
Network (192.168.20.0/23) so that I can run a single cable to my VOIP phones
and then from the VOIP Phone be able to use VLAN30 for VOIP and then use VLAN20
for the computer beside the VOIP Phone.
Would running a single cable from Computer Network NIC and a single cable from
my VOIP NIC (which is my Proxmox) the best way of doing this or what would you
suggest.
Thanks very much, I really appreciate your help.
