Hello, I would suggest to boot your VMWARE VM with rescue CD or FAI CD
For TEST environment: 1. partition VM for your needs 2. rsync from your LXC 3. Create /etc/fstab 3. Install kernel, bootloader in your chroot 4. reboot For PROD environment it can be a little bit complicated. Contact me offlist for an offer.
