So, umm, is CVS broken again?

Now the problem with this is that I *KNOW* I have a bug I put into MPI
-- but this isn't the bug I was triggering earlier (I'm trying to figure
out exactly what I'm doing that is messing up mpich). Nevertheless, I'm
not certain how my MPI changes could trigger a core dump on the server
side such as this one.
