Btw, if we're talking about usability issues as well, I would suggest
getting rid of the home button, and instead making the big image up top
be a link to the homepage. I always expect header images like that to
take me to the 1st page.

Probably the biggest changes are needed in the documentation (FAQ,
quickstart etc.) and those should probably be done in the tree first.
Brad also suggested we add an FAQ entry to explain the 1, 2, and lack
thereof.
Another issue to consider is that there are a number default file names
that have the 2 - like the executable names even source stuff. We need
to decide how much of that we actually want to change and when and how
to do that.
So, comments are solicited.
